individual to be a part of the multi-disciplinary and
multi-modality Global Drug Product Development & Manufacturing
group. The candidate will be a part of the Biologics Drug Product
Development team in support of Gene Therapy programs in the Genomic
Medicine Unit. The incumbent will have the opportunity to work on
different facets of drug delivery and product development for
modalities such as Lipid Nanoparticles (LNPs) and Adeno-associated
virus (AAV). This position is a 6-month fixed term Co-op
opportunity. Candidates must be available 40 hours per week,
Monday-Friday, at Waltham MA. We are an innovative global

of formulation, process development and stability studies for gene
therapy programs Work with internal and external partners to
address formulation, stability and compatibility aspects using
established assays efficiently and comprehensively, across a
variety of technological platforms and disciplines Maintain a
strong work ethic and good documentation practices including
electronic laboratory notebook maintenance and writing of technical
reports and SOPs Analyze, compile and present results to internal
and cross functional teams comprised of members from multiple
groups and stakeholders. About You Basic Qualifications: Currently
enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's degree, master's degree, or PhD
in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical
Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related discipline at an accredited
college or university Must be enrolled in an accreditedcollege or
university throughout the duration of the co-op/internship Must be
able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week,
Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the co-op/internship Must
be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require
sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the
time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT,
OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term
employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless
eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require
company sponsorship Must have 1 years of relevant laboratory
experience Preferred Qualifications: Excellent communication skills
Ability to multi-task and learn new skills and possess flexibility
and adaptability that is needed in a fast-paced team environment
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills Ability to collaborate
effectively with peers across a spectrum of disciplines is
required. Experience in gene therapy, particularly formulation and
manufacturing of lipid nanoparticles and viral capsids-based drug
product is a significant plus Advance knowledge and experience in
using chromatographic and biophysical techniques is an added
