Come and join our team.Just Lights is a lighting showroom in need of a new lighting sales associate interested in a full-time, long-term career opportunity. We are a small family-owned business that strives to provide the utmost in attentive and personalized service to home-owners, home-builders, interior designers and fellow contractors while helping them find the right lighting solutions for primarily residential projects.Primary responsibilities of the position include: Full time position: Tuesday - Saturday 9am - 5 pmSaturday scheduling is mandatoryAcknowledge and Greet customers in a friendly and polite manner in person and by phoneAssist customers with requests in all aspects of Sales and Customer Service in store and by phone to meet their various lighting needs and/or concernsComputer posting of sales transactions and customer orders and paymentsSubmit and track Purchase OrdersProject follow-upMulti-tasking in a busy, fast-paced retail showroomWorking with Vendors and Warehouse staffs to manage returned goods and damagesData Entry, Inventory levels awareness and Showroom Merchandise managementLight housekeeping for Showroom maintenance/cleanlinessDemonstrate knowledge of products and services to customersEducate customers about current promotions, advertisements, products, trendsContribute to team's daily sales goalsAdditional work based upon the varying needs of fellow staff and the business including but not limited to: receiving vendor deliveries, stocking of merchandise and display installation, loading and unloading/carrying of products from vendor orders and/or for customer purchases, occasional customer delivery by vehicle and inventory duties and controlJob Requirements and Qualifications: Our office and workplace is a Non-Smoking Facility.High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required1-2 years of sales experience or customer service experienceCustomer Service as first priorityExcellent communication skills - Written and OralShow initiative and responsibility; work independently with little direction; able to self-taskAbility to multi-task; be task/job/goal drivenNeat and professional appearance and attireAbility to lift at least 50 lbs with assistance; comfortable being on a ladderMotivated to learn as new technology emerges to keep up on the industry changesOutgoing and positive attitudeStrong attention to detail and organizationAdhere to established company policies and proceduresAt least a basic knowledge of computer applicationsPunctuality and commitment in attendance for scheduled shiftCOVID-19 considerations:Currently, the use of face masks is not required by fully vaccinated staff and customers.
