Candidate may be required to support other logistics functions i.e., packaging, inventory support, material expediting, kitting, and using material handling equipment.Candidate must be extremely detail oriented with the ability to focus on the task at hand.Must be willing to work overtime when required.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAble to obtain certification to ship HAZMAT material under DOT, IATA, IMDGNeed to complete DES Hazardous waste disposal and spill responseTraining on DGIS, TCMIS and ALCS softwareManage chemical inventory utilizing ALCS shelf- life report, and manual inventoryAbility to assist our package department with Hazmat battery shipmentsPrepare and package HAZMAT shipments in a timely mannerRequired Skills:Previous experience in Logistics related activitiesOperation of Warehouse Material handling equipmentAble to obtain forklift certificationAble to lift 28 lbs.Computer proficientGood Communication skills and the ability to function in a team environmentAbility to work with general supervisionExtremely detail orientedPrior safety knowledgeMust be able to obtain certification for IATA, IMDG and DOT shipments.Desired Skills:Knowledge of the Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS)Knowledge of PRISMKnowledge of IATA, IMDG and DOTRequired Clearance:Future clearance may be requiredRequired Education:High School Degree and 1-3 Yrs.
