Job Description:

We are partnering with an Aerospace and Defense client to hire experienced machinists across multiple disciplines, including CNC machining, Manual Turn Mill Operation, and Manual Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) work. Across all positions, candidates will be expected to perform setups, interpret blueprints and programs, and troubleshoot issues related to tooling, fixtures, and part alignment in addition to day-to-day machine operation. This position is located in Haverhill, Massachusetts. In this role you will: Set up and operate machinery in accordance with established procedures. Read and interpret blueprints and machine programs. Perform tasks that require advanced skills and sound judgment. May oversee or guide coworkers and is qualified to train others (per skills matrix). Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with 6S standards. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience. Familiarity with industry practices, especially in sectors such as aerospace. Demonstrates creativity and flexibility & strong troubleshooting capabilities. Uses experience and judgment to accomplish tasks effectively. Must collaborate respectfully with programmers and engineers. Work Conditions: Physical Effort - Moderate physical activity required. Work Environment - Generally comfortable manufacturing or production setting. Sensory Demands - Requires focus across multiple simultaneous stimuli. Mental Stress - Work involves noticeable.
