Job Description:
Join our 6W-Cardiac Progressive Care Unit as a Licensed
Practical Nurse, primarily working evening/night shifts with
flexible scheduling and relocation assistance.
Provide practical nursing care for cardiac and medical-cardiology
patients, including admissions, discharges, and post-procedure care
for conditions like MI, arrhythmias, CHF, and more.
Collaborate with RNs and physicians, participate in the nursing
process, and support patient education tailored to developmental
needs.
Administer medications, implement care plans, advocate for
patients, and contribute to performance improvement efforts.
Must be a graduate of an accredited LPN program, licensed in
Virginia, with BLS-HCP certification; prior experience not
required.
Complete orientation, competency assessments, and de-escalation
training within four months.
