Solutions is a multifaceted contract manufacturing organization
specializing in thermoplastic injection molding, precision
machining and finishing, and silver-plated medical sensors for
disposable electrodes. We work with clients of all sizes to provide
manufacturing solutions and assembly services to help our customers
meet their goals. Our 120,000 square foot Fitchburg, MA
manufacturing facility is capable of serving customers' projects
from concept to commercialization.The Quality Supervisor is
responsible for providing daily supervision and guidance to the
quality inspectors. The quality supervisor will coordinate all
incoming and manufacturing inspection priorities with the
inspectors. Job responsibility includes assessment and disposition
of non-conforming product, communicating any process issues with
area management. Working as part of corrective / preventive action
team. The Quality Supervisor will be required to update databases,
logs and reports. I. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESDuties/Responsibilities:
Ability to perform inspections using Inspection/Test equipment
which includes, but is not limited to: -Coordinate Measuring
Machine (CMM) -Vision Systems such as: Keyence Optical Measurement
Systems & Micro Vu Video Measuring Machine -Optical Comparator
(standard and eCAD) -Micrometer -Calipers -Drop indicator
-Pull-force tester -Hardness testerCoordinate all daily incoming
and manufacturing inspection priorities with the
inspectors.Coordinate with Engineering and Operations validation
inspection activities to be completed in a timely manner.Review
Device History Records for completeness and accuracy. Identify
opportunities for corrective/preventive action; implement
appropriate actions; perform effectiveness checksInvestigate
non-conforming material issues; establish evaluation requirements,
review information and provide recommendation for final disposition
Maintain and review quality metrics; identify trends and recommend
course of action to effect correctionMust adhere to all company
policiesMust have a basic understanding of quality management
systems related to ISO 13485 and CFR 820 regulationsMust have a
basic understanding of Work Instructions and Stand Operating
Procedures and their related data collection documents (e.g. run
sheets)Provide technical support to Receiving/Purchasing to resolve
material issues through use of the MRB process. Provide training
assistance with regards to operation and inspection
procedure/methodology changesUtilize statistical methods and tools
for process control to support project, product development and
manufacturing activities. Review results and provide
recommendations for changes/improvementSupports personnel
development and manages the interpretation and application of
company policies and proceduresEngage at all times in continuous
improvement ideas and consideration for all operationsApprove all
employees time in Paylocity and ERP IQMS system, Quality Manager to
be back upMaintains and conducts reviews and performance
evaluations to build high performing team. Including compensation
plans, development plans, and disciplinary action programs.Promotes
employee understanding and adherence to safety regulations and
occupational health hazardsSelection, training, development, and
organization of quality staff to perform and meet quality

Requirements:
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); two year
technical degree strongly preferred1-3 years of supervisory
experience preferred Competence with Microsoft Office program suite
is strongly preferredComprehensive knowledge of SPC software is
strongly preferredFamiliarity with ISO 9001 and CFR 820 Quality
Systems requirements Print Reading / interpretation is strongly
preferredThorough knowledge of Statistical Process Control
techniques and applications; problem solving tools a plus Micron
