As the Culture & Engagement Lead you will be responsible for creating and integrating a culture and engagement strategy for the Devens Cell Therapy. This position will be responsible for engaging, aligning, and inspiring employees with the company s vison and business strategy. The role encompasses key aspects of how the Devens Cell Therapy connects and relates to current and prospective employees. The role partners closely with the Executive Leadership Team to drive and deliver culture, engagement, and internal communications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Working with the Devens Cell Therapy Leadership Team in this role the candidate will build and grow the site culture
* Lead development, implementation, and assessment of strategies and programs to continuously improve engagement among our employees contributing to a high performing organization linked to our values
* Build strong internal networks and drive change management, communication and leadership of culture and engagement initiatives
* Represent BMS externally as the People Engagement Lead helping to attract top key talent to BMS.
* Lead and manage the internal engagement implementation, along with action planning and goal setting, ensuring the leadership team has access to insights that inform positive change
* Apply various tactics to boost employee retention and productivity across all levels
* Lead development, implementation, and assessment of strategies and programs to attract, retain and promote a diverse workforce for the organization
* Develop capability-building for employees on how to recognize, accommodate and appreciate individual differences and how it assists in meeting company business plans
* Determines communications strategy and execute programs to deliver communications objectives throughout the organization inclusive of delivery of corporate culture and business strategy
* Develop internal publications such as newsletters, releases, email announcements, planned publications, on-line, intranet, video, special projects and assignments.
* Develop strategies and initiatives that enable all employees to engage and align to the strategy and help articulate and develop new ways of working that are required to deliver the organizations goals
* Drive the development and implementation of people recognition initiatives that are valued across the organization at all levels and ongoing ownership.
* Support the HR function to develop engaging communications that reflect our employer brand and attract top talent to the organization
* To ensure that our internal intranet reflects our brand, culture and continues to be a relevant and useful platform for employees
* To oversee social activity and performance update events including such as holiday and summer parties, and other events
* Oversee ad-hoc projects that further enhance the employee and customer/shareholder experience.

Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree in relevant field and 7 + years of project and/or people management experience, some experience operating in a Culture & Engagement role preferred
* Proven leadership, independence of thought / action, and the ability to analyze complex problems from multiple perspectives will be critical to the success of the selected candidate
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Strong facilitation skills
* The capacity and desire to partner closely with Executive Leadership is critical. Must be able to manage multiple priorities, produce excellent work results, and follow through on commitments. A sense of urgency is required
* Background and experience in communications preferred
