safe.Job DescriptionBAE Systems is looking for a full-time on-site
Process Tech to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment at
their Nashua, New Hampshire facility. Working closely with
multi-disciplinary teams, and being able to adapt to a rapidly
changing production factory environment brings with it an exciting
opportunity to influence the successful execution of production
goals and achieving operational excellence.The candidate will
resolve processing issues for Operators and Technicians on the
factory floor, work with Process Engineering on projects, process
improvements, and problem resolutions. Additionally, they will
utilize Solumina, TIPQA, and other tools daily. Can work
independently. In this role, the Process Tech would collaborate
closely with process engineers, value stream specialists (VSS),
operators and technicians to drive process technical
solutions.Full-time OnsiteBecause of the need for consistent,
in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work
onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be
performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on
location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the
time.Responsibilities May Include
- Partner with process engineers to drive technical
resolutions.
- Participate and contribute towards process improvement
projects, introduce mechanical fixtures, implement automated
processes
- Support factory floor activities
- Write rework instructions and close out discrepancies
- Utilize Solumina, TipQA, Data View and other tool to support
process
- Engage with VSS to align technical resolution with production
delivery schedule and complianceRequired Education, Experience, &
Skills
- High School Diploma and 1 year work experience or equivalent
experience
- Be able to work independently
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPointPreferred Education,
Experience, & Skills
- Work experience as process tech or engineering assistant in
defense industry manufacturing.
- Familiarity with electromechanical assembly, circuit card
assembly and conformal coat operations
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPointAbout
