Job Description:
Responsible for ordering and maintaining of parts inventory for
facility and equipment maintenance. Ensures correct parts are
ordered and received in a timely manner to maximum plant
efficiency. -
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes, but is not limited
to the following: -
1. Utilizes -electronic maintenance system for ordering parts for
machinery
2. Maintains accurate part quantities and reorders part supplies.

3. Verifies items received against purchase orders. Perform regular
cycle count inventory to ensure accurate inventory accounting.
4. Organizes parts in maintenance shop. Updates and maintains
accurate bin location by part number to ensure parts
organization
5. Removes parts or items no longer used from inventory. -
6. Locates buyers for items not needed. -
7. Picks and delivers parts at machine shop.
8. Allocate parts with activities in inventory system. -
9. Work with Maintenance Supervisor and Manager to create and
maintain a consistently accurate and updated mechanical
inventory
10. Daily communication with the maintenance group on parts
received and/or problems with parts
11. Maintains inventory of plant gases
12. Performs other duties as required -

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
May require bending or lifting.
