This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the efficiency and safety of our manufacturing operations by maintaining and repairing industrial machinery, thereby directly contributing to Cargill's mission of nourishing and sustaining the global community. Perform routine and preventative maintenance of manufacturing equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal operation and minimal downtime. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in industrial settings, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and other mechanical systems. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment, adhering to OSHA standards and company policies. Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop maintenance strategies and troubleshoot complex mechanical problems. Record maintenance and repair work performed, and provide feedback and suggestions for improving equipment reliability and performance. Assist in the installation of new manufacturing equipment and ensure its proper setup and integration. Strong understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Proficiency in using tools and equipment needed for maintenance and repairs. Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) or equivalent. Certification in Hydraulics and Pneumatics is advantageous.
