Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Acquisitions Logistician to provide
expert product assistance to Program Managers (PM) and Product
Support Managers (PSM) for Air Force systems. This senior role will
lead total life cycle systems management activities, direct
sustainment teams through advanced data analysis, acquisition
management, and strategic logistics support for critical assets.
The position requires deep expertise in DoD acquisition logistics,
post-production support planning, and the ability to develop and
implement comprehensive logistics strategies across complex defense

Managers. Responsibilities include: Lead the development and
maintenance of Post Production Support Plans (PPSP), Post
Production Transition Plans (PPTP), and Transition to Post
Production (TPP) Strategically coordinate all logistics elements
including spares, Support Equipment (SE), training, facilities,
technical data, and provisioning Conduct senior-level analyses of
sustainment issues and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and
Material Shortages (DMSMS) Oversee the development and validation
of documentation for automated logistics/maintenance data reporting
systems Represent programs in high-level reviews, conferences, and
Program Management Reviews (PMR) Direct the development of
integrated support requirements for system and equipment design
Lead complex logistics studies, resource requirements analyses,
readiness assessments, and cost analyses Manage Life Cycle
Logistics Management (LCLM) analyses and strategic reporting
Develop and implement product support strategies incorporating
Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements Direct supportability
analyses and evaluate support alternatives at a program level Lead
Life Cycle Cost Management (LCCM) and Design-To-Cost (DTC) program
activities Coordinate on-site supply support at Aerospace
Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG) when required Other
duties as assigned Qualifications/ Technical Experience
Requirements: Must be a US Citizen Bachelor's degree in Logistics,
Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (Master's
preferred) Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in defense
acquisition logistics Demonstrated expertise in DoD, USAF, and
logistics policies, procedures, and functionalities Extensive
experience with Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), Technical
Orders (TOs), and Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP) Proven
ability to lead logistics supportability requirements analyses and
implement solutions Advanced knowledge of configuration management
and technical data management systems Expertise in Performance
Based Logistics (PBL) and public-private partnering concepts
Demonstrated leadership in logistics support documentation and
reporting systems Must possess a Top Secret/SCI clearance Desired
Qualifications: Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain
Management, or related field Defense Acquisition Workforce
Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III certification in Life Cycle
Logistics 10 years experience with aerospace/defense logistics
systems Advanced experience with avionics systems, software
development, and depot-level maintenance Strong background in cost
analysis, business case analysis, and total ownership cost
evaluations Expert knowledge of Reliability, Maintainability,
Quality, Supportability, and Interoperability (RMQSI) principles
Experience leading cross-functional teams in logistics program
execution Proven track record of successful logistics strategy
implementation for major weapon systems All positions at Applied
Research Solutions are subject to background investigations.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background

expected annual salary range: $145k - $160k. Salary is dependent
upon the role and associated responsibilities, candidate's
experience, and qualifications to include education/training, and
key skills.
