Job DescriptionBAE Systems is seeking an Operational Analyst
Technical Director to provide vision and direction to develop next
generation capabilities for tomorrow's advanced aircraft. Our
analysts are members of cross-functional, multi-disciplined teams
focused on developing cost-effective systems that protect our
Warfighters. Capabilities involve assessment of integrated
Electronic Warfare (EW) systems including Electronic Attack (EA),
Electronic Protection (EP) and Electronic Support (ES) for RF
sensing, detection, identification, geolocation, and jamming;
infrared (IR) imaging, guidance, survivability and targeting; C4ISR
for actionable intelligence including SIGINT, EO/IR, Multi-INT, and
hyperspectral solutions; and information technologies including
fusion and dynamic mission battle management.The qualified analyst
will provide technical leadership and mentoring to the ops analysis
group, collaborate with design teams assessing threats, developing
and quantifying operational level systems requirements, developing
operational systems concepts, and assessing mission effectiveness
in simulated environments. The analyst will perform operational
analysis studies using a wide variety of DoD, existing and
BAE-developed modeling and simulation tools.Duties and
Responsibilities may include:Grow, teach and mentor a team of
operational analysts in all aspects of mission and engagement
analysis including communication and presentation of results to all
levels of the organization and DoD decision makersProvide expertise
in EW analysis including the ability to assess both internally as
well as government-developed tools for accuracy and
completenessImplement analyses at the appropriate level of fidelity
to answer analytic questions and extract meaningful Measures of
Effectiveness and Measures of Performance that resonate with
warfighters and provide design teams insight into translating
technology into effective systemsDevelop a roadmap for mission
simulation capabilities and toolsPerform mission simulation using
AFSIM, Suppressor, BRAWLER, and/or STK to determine mission
effectivenessPerform engagement simulation using TMAP, ESAMS,
MATLAB, Simulink and other toolsPerform modeling and simulation
studies that optimize mission performance for weapon systems across
the air, land, sea, space, and cyber domainsDevelop and apply
advanced software and systems methods, theories, and research
techniques in the investigation, analysis and solution of complex
and advanced technical problems.Use, develop, and modifying tools
to support:Data analysis of simulation or flight test
resultsRequirements analysisVisualization of battlespace, missions
and engagements to provide intuition understanding of system and

role, it will be performed fulltime on site. This means work will
be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the

Education, Experience, & SkillsBachelor's degree in a technical
field such as Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics,
Physics, or Computer ScienceThe candidate will have critical
thinking skills that will be exercised across multiple levels of
detail.The candidate should enjoy problem solving and have the
ability to produce concrete results despite significant ambiguities
in the problem space.The candidate must be able to multi-task
across many simultaneous studies and efforts in order to
effectively support the needs of the business areas and product
lines within the Electronic Systems sectorThe candidate must be
able to serve as a point of contact and effectively interface with
other OA organizations within DoDExperience developing and using
analysis tools such as MATLAB, Python, C/C++, or similar tools is
required.Experience using tools such as AFSIM, Suppressor, JIMM,
BRAWLER, STK, TMAP, ESAMS, EADSIM, or EWIR.Preferred Education,
Experience, & SkillsExpertise in EWExperienced and recognized in
the DoD OA communityExperienced with Collaborative M&S
environmentsKnowledge of MBSE and mission simulation driven by
MBSEDevSecOps and DevSecOps pipeline driven by mission
simulation-enabled test environmentsExperience with tools,
infrastructure and security constraints of DoD environmentsAbout
