Job Description American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/27/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Rotating, 3x12hrs - Hours: 36 hrs/wk - Start Date: Apr 27, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 2 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg float pool position requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent experience, Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma background, and a NH or Compact RN license. Details - Float pool position covering multiple Med/Surg units on a staffing resource team basis - Float units include 1 East, 1 West, 2 West, 2&3 East, 3 West, 4 West, 5 West, ED, and PACU - Travelers will work ED and PACU border assignments - Deceased Patient Coordinator (DPC) coverage may occasionally be required - Day/night rotation schedule, 36 hours per week - Telemetry monitoring is part of the patient care scope Requirements - Active NH RN license or Compact RN license required; proof of state residency required for Compact license holders - Current BLS certification required - Minimum 2 years of recent, equivalent Med/Surg nursing experience required - Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required - Proficiency with chest tubes, trachs, and laryngectomies required - Experience managing drips including Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, and amiodarone required - Experience with lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients required - Central line care, maintenance, and blood draws experience required - Complex wound care experience required - 2 references from managers required for consideration Additional Information - Previous float pool experience is highly preferred - Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted American Traveler Job ID P-688868.
