PCU-Telemetry Registered Nurse Location Not specified Assignment
Duration This is a contract position with an assignment length of
16 to 32 weeks. Schedule 12-hour rotating shifts (Day/Night).
Flexibility with scheduling, including availability for every other
weekend, is required. Job Description The PCU-Telemetry Registered
Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a
telemetry unit, floating within the central pool as required.
Nurses must collaborate effectively with the healthcare team,
maintaining a focus on patient-centered care. Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to patients in the telemetry unit, focusing on
cardiology and patients with post-cath., stemis, and structural
heart needs. Monitor patient conditions and respond to any changes
in status. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient
care. Participate in orientation and training programs as
necessary. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure AHA
BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications are required,
with NIHSS needed prior to start. A minimum of 2 years of
experience in a PCU or telemetry setting. Experience in a large
trauma level 1 teaching facility is preferred. Recent EPIC
