Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse with Operating Room experience to fulfill the role of OR RN Circulator. This position plays a vital role in patient care, serving as the advocate by coordinating all aspects of care during the preoperative and postoperative phases. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage a dynamic surgical environment effectively. Location: This role is based in Orleans, Vermont, near the Canadian border nestled in the scenic Northeast Kingdom. The area offers a tranquil lifestyle enriched with outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, fishing, and snowmobiling. Personal transportation is recommended due to limited public transit options. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate patient care before and after surgery to ensure safety and comfort Act as the patient advocate throughout surgical procedures Collaborate with surgical team members to facilitate smooth operations Participate in departmental quarterly education sessions to maintain skills and compliance Provide on-call coverage as needed Qualifications / Desired Experience: Valid RN license with current Operating Room experience Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and organizational skills Willingness to work Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts, with on-call duties This is a contract position at a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital serving a close-knit community.
