Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system that

is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse II to join our Adult
Emergency Department. The successful candidate will be pivotal in
providing urgent and lifesaving care to adult patients in a dynamic
and high-pressure environment. This role requires a commitment to
patient-centered care, excellence in nursing practices, and the
ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for adult
patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and emergent health
conditions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to
formulate individualized care plans. Administer medications,
maintain patient records, and ensure compliance with healthcare
regulations. Provide education and support to patients and their
families regarding medical processes and outcomes. Monitor patient
recovery and respond to emergency situations with quick
decision-making skills. Proficient in clinical skills with an
ability to handle high-stress situations Strong communication and
interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team
Knowledge of emergency care procedures and protocols Technical
proficiency with medical software and record keeping Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of employment. Basic Life Support (BLS),
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
required.
