Catholic Medical Center is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist ARRT to join our dynamic radiology team. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services that are essential in the diagnosis and management of patient conditions. As a Radiology Technologist, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that all patients receive precise and timely imaging services, crucial for their treatment planning and recovery. Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using fixed and portable radiography equipment. Adjust equipment settings and evaluate the images for quality. Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures. Prepare and position patients for radiographs, explaining procedures to them. Ensure radiation safety for patients, staff, and self, adhering to prescribed safety standards. Maintain accurate patient records and radiographic logs. Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to analyze imagery and determine subsequent treatment. Assist in the maintenance and calibration of radiographic equipment. Proficiency in operating radiographic (X-ray) and imaging equipment. Strong understanding of radiologic safety and protection practices. Excellent patient management skills to handle diverse age and socio-economic groups. Analytical skills to evaluate radiographs. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
