registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. A nursing opportunity in the Operating Room (OR)
offers a challenging and rewarding environment in a Level III
Trauma OR within a complex community setting. This contract role is
based in Lowell, MA, and involves working varied shifts in a busy
surgical unit with a census of approximately 30-40 patients daily.
Schedule/Hours: - Days: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM - Evenings: 1:00 PM to
11:30 PM (1-2 shifts per 4-week schedule) - Weekends: 1-2 shifts
per 4-week schedule, including call responsibilities - On-call
requirement as scheduled (including holiday call and weekday calls)
Responsibilities include: - Providing perioperative nursing care to
a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adult, and
geriatric patients. - Utilizing aseptic techniques and
independently circulating during surgeries. - Demonstrating
multispecialty competence in supporting surgical teams. -
Maintaining accurate and timely documentation using the EPIC
electronic medical record system. - Maintaining a
clinician-to-patient ratio of 1:1 for optimal patient care. -
Adhering to all safety, regulatory, and hospital policies.
Qualifications: - Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
required. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory. - 1-2
years of OR nursing experience preferred. - Ability to handle
rotating shifts and call requirements. - Strong proficiency in
aseptic techniques and multispecialty OR nursing. Located in
