assigned wherever needed- High proficiency in both Emergency
Department (ED) and Med/Surg/Progressive Care Unit (PCU)-
Experience with MS, ED, and PCU/MS- Ability to work independently
and handle stressful situationsJob Description:- Provide
professional nursing care within assigned departments and
coordinate care planning with other disciplines.- Deliver care that
meets the psychosocial, physical, and general needs of patients.-
Determine priorities of care based on patient needs, influencing
patient flow through the system.- Communicate with physicians
regarding changes in patient status and respond quickly to any
changes in condition or treatment response.- Perform comprehensive
assessments for all patient demographics and manage pain
effectively.- Revise and evaluate care plans based on patient
response to treatment.- Administer medications accurately and
demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of medications for various age
groups.- Formulate and evaluate teaching plans and include families
as appropriate.- Assist physicians with procedures and demonstrate
technical and manual skills.- Perform cardiac monitoring, identify
dysrhythmias, and treat according to ACLS protocols.- Monitor
hemodynamic status and interpret results correctly.- Provide care
to patients with nutritional, metabolic, fluid, and electrolyte
management needs.- Communicate effectively with team members and
consult other departments for interdisciplinary approaches.-
Maintain flexibility, organization, and functionality under
stressful situations.- Participate in weekend shifts every other
