working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in
Colebrook, New Hampshire, 03576! Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse

Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
Must-Have: - Strong teamwork and flexibility required. - Ability to
read and interpret EKG. - Strong IV skills preferred. Description:
The facility has a blocked schedule. It includes 7 beds and 1
trauma room. Telehealth and emergency department services are
available. Patient volume varies; approximately 4,000 patients are
treated each year. Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS. ENPC
and TNCC certifications are preferred. Only one nurse is staffed in
the emergency room, resulting in a 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio,
though assistance will be provided by the charge from the
medical-surgical unit. No charge nurse is available during the
shift. Emergency technicians support during the day; none are
assigned during nights. No security or sitters are available, but a
panic button is present, and the local police department is
responsive. Nurses will work every third weekend, with additional
rotations as needed. Holiday shifts will be rotated in with
permanent staff. Any color scrubs are acceptable, provided they are
professional and appropriate. Mindray monitors are used in the
facility. Nurses must be capable of reading and interpreting EKGs
and conducting lab draws if the lab is unavailable. There is no IV
team, and PICC lines are placed by providers during the day.
Respiratory therapy is not available; nurses will perform all
treatments. A pharmacist is on-site until 3 PM, with telepharmacy
support available after hours. Nurses may need to mix medications
if new orders arise after hours. Floating to other areas within the
facility may be required. One shift will work with a preceptor.
Common diagnoses encountered are varied. This is a friendly and
team-oriented environment. Candidates must be adaptable to schedule
changes and willing to work as needed. Be prepared for follow-up
