Job Description Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)Location: Berlin, NH Start Date: As soon as possible Compensation Package: - Base Salary: 165,000 annually - On-Call Compensation: - Weekdays (Monday-Friday): 23/hour or 345 for 15 hours (5 PM - 7 AM) - Weekends and Holidays: 28.33/hour or 680 for 24 hours (7 AM - 7 AM) - Call Back: 105.77/hour - CME Funds: 3,500 for licensure, DEA, medical staff dues, professional memberships, and conference-related expenses - Commencement Bonus: 25,000 (paid on the first pay date post-hire, within up to 17 days) - Projected Total Compensation: 228,445 Schedule: - Work Schedule: Rotating 2 weeks on, 1 week off - Weekdays: Generally, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, but may vary based on caseload - Weekends and Holidays: On-call only - Post-Call: Typically, workdays following an overnight on-call; if the night was busy, the CRNA is the first to be dismissed based on caseload and staffing needs - Total Work Weeks: 34 to 35 weeks per year - Unscheduled Weeks: 17 to 18 weeks per year (for personal time, vacation, CME, and holidays) On-Call Requirements: - 3-Week Cycle: - Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday - Week 3: Off - Response Time: Must be able to respond in person to the hospital within 30 minutes - Holiday Coverage: Assigned equitably and in rotation, usually coinciding with regular on-duty weeks Job Requirements: - Prior independent practice experience preferred - Proficiency in ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia - Comfortable managing anesthesia for obstetrics, adult, and pediatric patients - Prefer at least 3 years of prior experience; new graduates generally not considered due to the independent nature of the anesthesia program Job Highlights: - Join a hospital-based team of independent practice CRNAs - Provide and manage general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and monitored anesthesia care independently - Offer acute pain services, including ultrasound-guided nerve blocks and epidural catheter management - Provide anesthesia services for specialties such as: - Cardiology - Ear, Nose & Throat - Gastroenterology - General Surgery - Orthopedics - Obstetrics and Gynecology - Pain Management - Podiatry - Pulmonology - Urology EMR Systems: - Meditech Expanse - iProcedure Anesthesia EMR Key Equipment: - Mindray Anesthesia Machines - Sonosite Edge II Benefits: - Relocation Assistance: 10,000 - 20,000 (varies by distance and family size; taxable) - Housing Stipend: Potentially available (negotiable; taxable) - Education Loan Reimbursement: Potentially available (negotiable; taxable) - Retirement Plans: 457(b) and 403(b) available - Professional Liability Coverage: 1 million/3 million with tail coverage - Insurance: - Health - Dental - Vision - Short- and long-term disability This opportunity offers a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to join a dedicated team providing high-quality anesthesia services in a community-focused hospital setting.
