Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:ED - Emergency Department - Discipline:RN - Duration:13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift:12 hours, nights - Employment Type:Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Emergency Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Lawrence, MA. Job Function: - Night Shift. - 3x12: 7pm - 7am. - Manage the care of adult and/or pediatric patients with life-threatening conditions requiring complex assessments and high-intensity interventions. - Provide support, education, and comfort to patients and their families during the emergency room experience. - Communicate closely with all members of the healthcare team and independently recognize the need for early intervention. - Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing. - Perform medical procedures including IV insertion, intubation, medication administration, and blood draws. - Job Requirements: - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN). - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts. - 2 years of experience as an Emergency Room RN required. - BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications from the American Heart Association required.
