HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Portland, Maine. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 48/36 • Call Requirements: None • Years of Experience: 1-2 minimum • Float Requirements: yes – IMC RN’s may float to another IMC level of care unit within MMC. IMC RN’s will float to med/surg as needed. Med/surg RN’s may float to another med/surg unit with similar level of care. Floating is based on unit need and skill as well as the needs of nursing units. • Required Certifications: BLS • Number of Beds: 43 • Patient Ratios: Day Shift Med/Surg 1:4-5, Night Shift Med/surg 1:5-6, Day and Night IMC 3:1 • Must Have Skills/Experience: IMC RN’s must have Vent experience. All RN’s must have experience with tracheostomy’s and ready/interpreting telemetry strips • Type of Patients on Unit: Respiratory, Medical Telemetry, some surgical, sepsis, DKA, Altered Mental Status, Failure to Thrive, Respiratory Failure, and most any acute on chronic medical condition.
