Job Description:
The Physical Therapist position offers a Per Diem role at
$50/hour with shift differentials for evenings, nights, and
weekends. Responsibilities include providing individualized
evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans,
documenting progress, and educating patients and families under
physician supervision. Assess and adjust treatment plans based on
patient diagnosis and status, adhering to the Physical Therapy Code
of Ethics. Complete timely documentation such as evaluations,
progress notes, discharge summaries, and equipment justification
letters. Delegate tasks to assistants and support staff, coordinate
treatment caseloads, and participate in team conferences. Enhance
staff, patient, and family education through continuing education
and literature review. Prerequisites include a BS/MS/DPT in
Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, current licensure
or application, preferred APTA membership, BLS certification, and
experience with adult and geriatric rehab.
