Job DescriptionDepartment: Ambulatory Surgical CenterSchedule: Full-time 30+ hoursShift: DayHours: 7-3:30Req#: 18578Summary:Assumes full accountability for the nursing components of overall planning, organization, direction, coordination and evaluation of the ASC, in collaboration with the Executive Director, Administrative Director and the physician-led Board. Responsibilities include but not limited to: financial management (including inventory), human resource management, quality improvement, staff development and communication. The Nurse Director, Ambulatory Surgery Center role is crucial to the delivery of quality, cost-effective patient care and, therefore, the success of the ASC. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree graduate from an approved clinical program of study in nursing or healthcare field.
• Current NH license required, temporary license, or equivalent as appropriate to the healthcare field of specialty. Membership in professional organization required.
• ACLS, BCLS, and PALS must be achieved within first three (3) months from date of hire.
• Leadership/experience in a proprietary ASC with 3-5 years of clinical experience in appropriate clinical area with demonstrated ability in clinical and administrative management.
• Quality improvement process experience.
