REPORTS TO: - - - - - -Director of Nursing
SCOPE OF POSITION:
A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) who is
responsible for providing patient care and improving patient care
in an organized nursing unit.
She/he should demonstrate evidence of good health, knowledge and
competence in her/his area of practice by vigilant patient
observation and assessment, development and implementation of
nursing care plans and therapeutic interpersonal relation -ships
with patients and their families. -She/he should demonstrate the
ability to supervise and teach other personnel and maintain

school of nursing, current licensure to practice professional
nursing in the State of New Hampshire and progressive experience in
the nursing field.
Overseeing entire operations of healthcare units, including
resident rooms, common areas and dining areas, while supervising
