This is a key opportunity for someone with industry and technology expertise in the routing / switching sector, particularly within the government compliance (i.e. US Federal sector).   • Develop product certification and compliance strategy to enable sales and channel partners for successful outcomes in federal opportunities. Subject matter expertise on compliance and security standards
  • Monitor, track and organize all aspects of federal compliance requirements across Arista portfolio for both software and hardware programs, including staying abreast of changes that could impact certifications.
  • Engage with 3rd party certification labs to define and drive certification efforts for Arista portfolio
  • Collaborates with multiple engineering teams for development of features per compliance requirements, tracking progress of development, sales teams for opportunity and requirements, members of the leadership team for prioritization, funding and resources.
  • Product support for sales teams and customers to ensure success with major opportunities and deployments
  • Execute ongoing aspects of the compliance and product lifecycle, including tracking new product and software introductions, competitive solutions, products, and servicesQualifications
    • At least Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent Bachelor degree required
    • 6-8 years of experience in the networking industry
    • Strong preference for at least 2 years as a program manager or product manager.
    • Prior experience could also include compliance engineering, software engineering, systems engineering, or similar roles.
    • Experience driving cross-functional initiatives according to plan and timelines
    • Proven track record of successful collaboration with internal and external partners
    • Industry / technology expertise is preferred in the following areas: routing, switching, VxLAN/MPLS/network virtualization, network management and operations, data center trends and technologies, network orchestration and automation systems, network platform offerings and solutions from industry vendors
    • Expertise in federal security and compliance standards such as FIPS and NDcPP, Cryptography, encryption etc
    • Ability to build collateral (including slide decks in MSFT PowerPoint, Google Slides, etc), with technical accuracy, strategy, and clear messaging
