Job Description:
Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC/R
Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have
experience in commercial heating and air conditioning systems as
well as walk-in coolers and freezers. The technician will be
responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and
refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
This is a fulltime, year-round position. Hourly Rate:
$29-35.00/Hour Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and repair
HVAC systems, including heating and air conditioning units,
ductwork, and ventilation systems. - Service and repair walk-in
coolers and freezers, ensuring they are operating efficiently and
effectively. - Conduct regular inspections and preventive
maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems to identify and
address potential issues. - Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical
and electrical problems in HVAC and refrigeration systems. -
Perform system checks and adjustments, including calibrating
thermostats and controls. - Maintain accurate records of all
maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and
time spent. - Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and
regulations. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent;
technical school or formal apprenticeship is a plus. - Experience
working with commercial HVAC systems and refrigeration units,
specifically walk-in coolers and freezers. - Strong understanding
of HVAC/R systems, components, and controls. - Proficiency in
reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical
manuals. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. -
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong
communication skills. - Valid driver's license and reliable
transportation. - Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in
various environments, including confined spaces and rooftops. Other
Functions: All other duties assigned or necessary to support the
