Job Description:
TTEC is looking for an experienced professional to fill our
Senior Information Security Engineer position, focused on SOC
Engineering, within our Global Information Security Department.
-This position will report to the SOC Engineering Manager. -This
person must have a good understanding of the diverse aspects of
Information Security. -The Senior Information Security Engineer is
responsible for the following:
- Design and configuration of SIEM correlation and alerting to
ensure coverage against known malicious TTPs (detection
engineering).
- Drafting and tuning of Incident Handling playbooks
- Training SOC Operations staff on Incident Handling
playbooks
- Oversee and assist in the configuration and administration
functions for specific security tools.
- Engage in the mentoring of security operations engineers and
operational staff on security concepts and techniques.
- Evaluate security needs and recommend cost effective mitigating
controls. -
- Liaise with IT and Compliance staff to ensure audit
preparedness.
- Participate in a training program for personnel with
significant responsibilities to keep them current with the emerging
threat landscape that is present within the corporate
environment.
- Work directly with IT Staff to implement processes and
procedures to cost-effectively protect information systems
assets.
- Ensure data privacy for clients' customer data and TTEC
intellectual property and confidential data.
- Assist Risk Management with fraud detection, documentation and
prevention.To be successful in this role:
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years professional experience in
Information Security Operations and/or Engineering, or related
experience.
- Experience with the following tools - SIEM, LogRhythm, NextGen
AV / EDR / EPP, IDS / IPS, Proxy, DNS
- Ability to work independently to accomplish assigned objectives
with minimal supervision
- Ability to participate in incident response with many internal
and external constituents
- Ability to stay well informed of information security trends,
current events, emerging adversarial TTPs, and translate
information into detection capabilities
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, as
well as being able to prepare and present technical material to a
wide variety of audiences, including non-technical executives and
management and on occasion, to large groups - - -
- Experience with reviewing and implementing security policies.

- Working knowledge of Information Security regulations and
compliance, including but not limited to PCI, SOX General Computing
Controls, and SSAE 16 SOC I and SOC II, HIPAA and AICPA Trust
Services Principles.Preferred:
- Experience with working in large organization (50,000
employees).
- Experience in Information Security Digital Forensics / Incident
Response (DFIR)
- B.A. or B.S. degree in related field (Computer Science, Cyber
Security, Information Technology, etc.).
- Programming or scripting experience, e.g. python, PowerShell

- Technical certifications (GIAC, CEH, Sec )COMPENSATION &
BENEFITSThe anticipated starting salary range for individuals
expressing interest in this position is $83,000 - $132,000
annually. This position is eligible to participate in an annual
incentive program. Actual compensation offers to a candidate may
vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education
