acquires, owns, and operates renewable fuels facilities utilizing a

opportunity for a Manager of Portfolio Operations based in
Portland, Maine. POSITION SUMMARY The Manager of Portfolio
Operations is responsible for maximizing the operational and
financial performance of a portfolio of renewable natural gas
facilities as well as the performance of other tangential assets as
they are added to the portfolio including facilities related to CO2
liquefaction and sequestration, organic fertilizer production, and
biochar production. The role includes the oversight and management
of Peaks Plant Managers as well as external O&M groups
operating Peaks facilities. This role requires a self-starter who
thrives in a dynamic environment, works effectively across
functions, and takes ownership of project performance from
commissioning through steady-state operations. The ideal candidate
is excited to help build processes, drive performance, and
innovation in a rapidly evolving industry, and grow with the
company as the asset base expands. The position will involve close
collaboration with the Peaks leadership team and include
opportunities to add value in other Peaks functions as time
permits, namely commercial strategy. PRIMARY DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES Core – Operations Leadership Oversee the
operational performance of RNG and other tangential facilities with
a focus on maximizing production and uptime and ensuring optimal
efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance. Oversee the
financial performance of RNG and other tangential facilities,
ensuring projects are operating within budget. Work with the
finance team and junior operations personnel to maintain
operational and financial KPI dashboards; analyze operational and
financial trends to identify and execute on resulting performance
improvement initiatives. Lead budgeting and operations planning in
coordination with plant management and finance teams. Hire,
onboard, oversee, and be accountable to the performance of Peaks
plant managers as well as external O&M groups operating Peaks
facilities. Reinforce a culture of safety ensuring all company
personnel and vendors comply with all policies, procedures, and
regulations. Implement process improvements across the organization
including at the project level and Peaks platform level with
example projects including leading and/or supporting ERP and CRM
system implementations. Develop and oversee the implementation of
operational best practices at Peaks facilities including the
development, standardization, and roll-out of SOPs as well as the
digitization of repeatable tasks. Support plant managers and
external O&Ms with emergency scenario planning as well as in
managing through emergency events. Manage relationships with key
partners and stakeholders, including facility operators,
contractors, regulatory agencies, feedstock partners, and logistics
partners, among others. Work closely with Engineering and Finance
teams to prepare and manage capital investment plans relating to
plant improvement and growth projects. Work closely with Finance
and Commercial teams to support revenue compliance, invoicing,
settlements, and reporting. Support audits, certifications, and
regulatory reporting as required. Coordinate with Development,
Construction, Engineering, Commercial, and Finance teams for
projects under construction to ensure smooth asset transitions and
ongoing performance. Opportunistic – Commercial and Growth Strategy
Support revenue optimization for the Peaks platform across RNG
pathways (e.g., RINs, LCFS, CDRs, other term markets) Support the
development and execution of Peaks’ commercial strategy to secure
and optimize revenue streams across project types including RNG,
CO2, fertilizer, biochar, and others. Identify opportunities to
refine and adapt the company’s commercial strategy to align with
market trends in each of these markets. Evaluate and implement
value-added growth opportunities including bolt-on investments and
expansion into new investment and development verticals and offtake
markets. Support due diligence processes with the integration of
new assets into the Peaks portfolio as needed. General Develop
business cases to justify new investments and presentations to
provide updates on project performance and other major initiatives
to executive leadership, the BOD, and other stakeholders. Develop
frameworks for proactive risk management to safeguard Peaks’
interests and drive sustainable project outcomes. Foster a
collaborative culture focused on operational excellence,
professional growth, and accountability for results. EDUCATION AND
WORK EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in business administration,
finance, engineering, or a related field 5-7 years of experience in
energy operations, engineering, project management, or a related
role in energy, renewables, infrastructure, or industrial
operations Experience with RNG, biogas, waste-to-energy, or similar
assets strongly preferred. Experience and comfort working in a
fast-paced, evolving environment with limited structure. KNOWLEDGE,
SKILLS, ABILITIES Self-starter who takes initiative and drives work
forward independently. Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in
building and scaling a business. Comfortable balancing strategic
thinking with hands-on execution; adaptable, resilient, and
energized by change High attention to detail, strong organizational
skills, and meticulous analytical capability Ability to conduct and
interpret quantitative and qualitative analyses and communicate
complex concepts and data in an understandable manner to all levels
of the organization. Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, Word,
and PowerPoint including writing, maintaining complex Excel
formulas, and building PowerPoint presentations for executive
audiences. Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams with
a focus on operational, commercial and/or development objectives
Familiarity with the renewable fuels industry’s regulatory
landscape, market dynamics, and common technologies Passion for
