Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher
of the Visually Impaired certification and 1 years Teacher of the
Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. This position is for a
full-time Visually Impaired Teacher providing specialized
instruction to K-12 students. Working 37.5 hours per week from
Monday to Friday, the role supports students across all grade
levelsK-5, 6-8, and 9-12. The position may require traveling
between multiple school sites within the district. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver tailored educational services to students
with visual impairments, adapting curriculum as needed to meet
individual learning goals. Collaborate with classroom teachers,
parents, and support staff to create inclusive learning
environments. Conduct assessments and maintain detailed records of
student progress and intervention strategies. Provide orientation
and mobility training and support assistive technology use to
enhance student independence. Qualifications: Certified Teacher of
Students with Visual Impairments (TVI) preferred. Experience
teaching visually impaired students across K-12 grade levels.
Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to travel
between school sites as an itinerant instructor. Location:
Pinehurst, TX Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 37.5
