Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1 years
Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. A full-semester part-time position is available for a
Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to support K-12 students in a
school setting located between two sites in New Hampshire. This
role requires 10-12 hours per month, with onsite presence required,
and offers the opportunity to work closely with a diverse caseload
of students across multiple grade levels. Key Responsibilities: -
Deliver specialized instruction and support for Deaf and Hard of
Hearing students in grades K-12. - Collaborate with school staff to
adapt curriculum and learning environments to meet individual
student needs. - Conduct assessments, develop individualized
education plans (IEPs), and monitor progress. - Travel between two
school sites as assigned to provide direct student support. -
Maintain compliance with district policies and state regulations,
including confidentiality and student safety protocols.
Qualifications and Experience: - Active New Hampshire licensure and
certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing. - Previous
experience working within a school-based environment. - Ability and
willingness to service a K-12 caseload across multiple locations. -
Completion of district fingerprinting requirements. - Strong
communication skills and proficiency with online interview
platforms such as Zoom. Location:Work will take place onsite at
either of the two school locations in New Hampshire, with final
assignment determined between Hollis and Brookline. This contract
role begins as soon as possible and extends through June 17, 2026.
