Job Description:As a core part of the industry marketing and data-driven business team, this marketing professional will drive content strategy, messaging and storylines for capturing the value of data and analytics for business leaders across a variety of verticals. The ideal candidate should have direct experience in marketing data and analytics technology and working with field and sales teams, as well as writing and developing a variety of content assets, customer stories and blog articles.This marketing professional is responsible for delivering high-impact content and messaging, to both internal and external audiences, articulating Cloudera's value proposition for specific industries. This position requires significant hands-on editing and writing, directly and via agencies, conveying Cloudera's value in various content formats. Outputs may appear in written collateral, websites, blogs, video or other formats.You'll be a core part of a small, highly-motivated team focused on data-driven business, industry marketing and the business value of data and analytics - but expect to collaborate often across the organization, with the field, sales, technical teams and beyond.You Will* Understand and articulate Cloudera's value for business leaders in a variety of vertical industries. Be able to quickly understand industry trends, industry dynamics and customer needs and behaviors to define key marketing themes and content.* Work with subject matter experts to translate customer success and product features to sales and marketing content resources that support awareness, demand generation, and sales enablement.* Cultivate a solid understanding of key data-driven use cases and business value for industries and create content (with subject matter experts) to support sales and marketing programs.* Map out a content strategy and calendar that supports and extends industry marketing initiatives, determining which formats and methods work and why across channels and mediums. Write, produce and lead content creation directly.* Work closely with industry leaders and directors on content to support strategic sales plays, enablement and integrated marketing programs.You Will Have * Good working knowledge of how data and analytics technology is used across different vertical industries. 15+ years of professional experience, ideally with relevant work in marketing or communications for technol gy such as big data, analytics, machine learning or distributed systems.* Ability to think, research and communicate a clear point of view on complicated issues and create a concise and well-written narrative to express it* BA/BS or similar required, MBA preferred.* Ability to convey a clear value-based messaging and content for a clearly defined target audience. Demonstrated history of crafting compelling content; able to self- produce projects.* Able to use CRM, marketing, third-party and reporting systems for research, reporting and data-driven analysis related to content (what works or doesn't, across channels.)* Experience leading and influencing multiple projects involving technical, business, strategic, marketing and planning activities* Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of individuals, both inside and outside the company.* Ability to influence across multiple teams without reporting responsibility and to command the respect of individuals around the company* Strong project management skills with ability to thrive in high-pressure, time-sensitive scenarios.
