Ascend Learning is headquartered in Burlington, MA with additional office locations and remote workers in cities across the U.S. and in the U.K. -Job OverviewThe Healthcare division and specifically, Board Vitals, a division off Ascend Learning Healthcare is in search of Director, Performance Marketing.This role will cover both B2C and B2B activity for BoardVitals AND will begin to accelerate performance marketing efforts across other Ascend Learning Healthcare B2C brands.The Director must have an analytical, metrics-driven approach to understanding the opportunity and performance of channels and campaigns (Via KPIs, data, creativity and innovation to ensure focus), as well as proven success optimizing investment across these variables to drive growth.This individual will report directly to the VP, Marketing, B2C Brands and Demand Generation Participate as a member of the Board Vitals Senior Leadership Team and collaborate to accurately forecast and craft the right strategies, campaigns, and tests to grow Board VitalsResponsibilities

  • Boardvitals - Own and drive performance marketing strategy for Board Vitals (B2C and B2B)
  • Manages to an annual revenue target
  • This is a new role focused on customer acquisition PLUS creating new LTV revenue stream
  • Manage relationships between Board Vitals and external platforms, third-party agencies, vendors, and external creative partners
  • Lead development, reporting, and day to day execution of Board Vitals' marketing campaigns
  • B2B Specific responsibilities
  • Develop and execute campaigns to engage prospects and convert them to qualified leads
  • Build initial B2B acquisition strategy and oversee execution and resourcing
  • Healthcare - Establish new efforts to support the other emerging B2C brands performance marketing efforts
    • Manage core revenue channels for Healthcare businesses
    • This role develops and executes strategic roadmaps and tactics across product marketing and digital paid media for Healthcare
    • Overall (combined)
    • Develop and own full-funnel audience testing, conversion tests and improvements focused on campaign enhancements across platforms, retargeting, and landing page development and optimization
    • Establish best practices and application of the use of data in the use of segmentation, go-to-market and reporting needs
    • Lead the performance metrics reporting associated with various marketing channels and campaigns, insights gained and adjustments to be made
    • Evaluate current and new technologies to improve and optimize marketing team performance across all functions of the marketing team
    • Partner with peer members of the Ascend Healthcare marketing team to develop and drive marketing best practices across the segmentSkills and Abilities
      • Strong domain expertise across multi-channel marketing including, Search, Social, Programmatic, Mobile and Organic channels
      • Flexible skill set and style to work across brands
      • Own experimentation and channel expansion including digital channel roadmapping, creative planning, targeting and landing page optimization
      • Analytical, metrics-driven approach to understanding the opportunity and performance of channels and campaigns as well as proven success optimizing investment across these variables to drive growth. Education and Experience
        • Manages staff (3 directs, 6 total) and agency partners
        • 10+ years of experience and proven track record in owning performance marketing as a full business driver
        • Experience managing multi-channel demand generation / lead generation campaigns and initiatives, product marketing, sales enablement, inbound content marketing, and other key business growth drivers
        • Experienced in understanding CRM systems and marketing automation tools, as well as other supporting technologies
        • Specific experience marketing to healthcare and/or higher education segments a plus
        • Experience establishing thought leadership, case studies, ROI cases, and leveraging efficacy research - - -Candidates should be aware that Ascend Learning currently maintains a policy requiring all employees to be fully vaccinated.
