Job Description:

Duties: Designs and develops legacy and enterprise application stack using

C/C++, PL/SQL, DB2, Perl and Shell scripting, Java/J2EE, and cloud

computing technologies within a mutual fund processing environment. Works

on multiple projects and adheres to scheduled deadlines. Provides technical

guidance to junior developers. Develops projects using Agile methodology.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going

development efforts.

• Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in

multiple platforms.

• Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several

divisional initiatives.

• Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to

implementation.

• Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.

• Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications

supporting several corporate initiatives.

• Assists in the identification, isolation, resolution and

communication of problems within the production environment.

• Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.

• Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.

• Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a

project.

• Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis

for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,

Computer Applications, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and

three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of

experience developing multi-layer and cloud-based architectures; Or,

alternatively, a Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,

Computer Applications, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and

one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience

developing multi-layer and cloud-based architectures. Candidate must also

possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) designing and developing enterprise

applications using Java/J2EE, Polarlake, C/C++, Perl, and Korn Shell

scripting in multi-layer and cloud-based architectures; and implementing

test automation frameworks (FitNesse); DE performing DevOps engineering to

implement continuous integration and deployment using Jenkins and uDeploy

tools; analyzing code quality issues using Sonar; implementing application

resiliency procedures using HP Operations Orchestration; and process

management using HP Service Manager and ServiceNow; DE ddesigning and

developing database schema and ORM mappings using JPA and Hibernate;

writing triggers, cursors, PL/SQLs, stored procedures, and transactional

SQL within DB2, Sybase, and Oracle databases; and designing and developing

end-user business reports using OBIEE and BI Publishers; DE providing

Level-3 production support to resolve critical issues in production

environments, including incident management processes and methods within a

24x7 support environment.
