Job Description:

Duties: Serve as a member of the Fidelity Income Quality Assurance team.

Plan, design, and execute test cases to ensure applications and products

meet quality standards. Responsible for the design and maintenance of

organizational test strategy and test plan.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Consult with development and business teams to ensure application

design is optimized for testability.

• Participate in requirement sessions, design and execution planning

meetings, weekly check point meetings, review meetings, Scrum meetings,

release meetings, and defect triage meetings.

• Design, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test

strategy.

• Develop test automation strategy and automated test cases.

• Identify defects and manage the defect through the entire lifecycle

in Quality Center.

• Participate in the product rollout process to ensure proper

implementation in the production environment.

• Provide performance testing results and status updates to senior

management.

• Coordinate testing efforts with offshore teams.

• Determine proper levels of test coverage needed for medium to large

scale projects.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,

Mathematics, Physics or a closely related field and three (3) years of

experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in quality

assurance testing of frontend, middleware, web services, and databases; and

automated testing of asset management trading applications; or,

alternatively, a Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,

Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of

experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience in quality

assurance testing of frontend, middleware, web services, and databases; and

automated testing of asset management trading applications. Candidate must

also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) developing automation

strategies, and building automated test suites for application testing

using Fitnesse, UFT, Eggplant, Python, JAVA, and VB Scripting; and building

the backend fixture for Fitnesse automated tests; DE in quality assurance

testing including functional testing, integration testing, user acceptance

testing, test estimation, test planning, test coverage, traceability

matrix, as well as release planning and defect life cycle management; DE in

quality assurance reporting and tracking using Liberator, HP ALM, HP

Quality Center, Terse and JIRA Agile, and generating reports from Liberator

and HP ALM for presentation to senior management; DE in quality assurance

testing according to Agile test practices, Acceptance Test Driven

development, and Scrum processes.
